The biggest question that I get from new members is where to buy all of the roller bottles, carrier oils, jars, spray bottles, etc. The short answer is: anywhere you can find them. But here is my longer answer:
My top choice for carrier oils is Young Living’s V6. First of all, it’s Young Living, so the quality is going to be top-notch. It is not as inexpensive as some of the grocery store options (and yes, for the most part, you can purchase carrier oils from the grocery store), but it is a combination of the best carrier oils. Plus, you can purchase it in the regular 8 oz size with a pump top and flip/twist cap, but you can also purchase the larger 32 oz refill size.

I love a good roller bottle, don’t you? For starters, don’t necessarily use that roller fitment directly on the brand new essential oil bottle. They are awesome, but wait until you use almost all (if not all) of the oil in that bottle. Then fill the bottle with the carrier oil of your choice. The essential oil residue on the side of the glass will be enough for the new roller bottle that you have now created. I have found that the roller fitments are looser than some of the glass/plastic options, so you don’t want to have too much oil roll onto the skin. Can’t waste a drop of that precious oil!
If you want to buy a bunch of 10 mL roller bottles, I would recommend getting them from:
For my new favorite sharable size (3 mL), I choose to purchase from
- Amazon (12 for $8.50; 72 for $29.15; 144 for $49.57…)
My favorite lotion bottles come in and out of stock from my Amazon source, so you may just have to do some searching, but I would highly recommend getting them with the flip/turret cap and the natural body. If you put liquid inside, they will leak, but they hold lotion quite nicely with no leaks.
- Amazon (12 for $6.09 for 1 oz bottles)
While you have to purchase them in bulk (sets of 36 bottles), you can often find these in local Dollar Tree stores in the personal care/beauty section. I love getting them in sets of 36, though, because they are fantastic gifts, and it only takes one capful of Thieves Household Cleaner and filled the rest with water!
- Dollar Tree (36 for $36 online; $1 each in stores)
If you want glass spray bottles, I have had the most luck purchasing them from Abundant Health, where there area variety of sizes, colors, and styles (there is another well-known popular resource site, but all of my bottles from there have broken, leaked, or the triggers stopped working).
Mason jars are fantastic (get them from Walmart for the best prices), but there’s something so wonderfully joyous about a tin jar. I love these particularly:
- Amazon (24 for $19.99 for 2 oz jars)
While this is delving more into the realm of business builder and educator supplies, this has become a HUGE favorite of mine, so I had to include it… mini eyedroppers to put samples of the Thieves Hand Purifier!!! Seriously, I give this out to everyone, making sure to write on the label that it’s a free sample (we cannot repackage and sell any Young Living product). And you guys, it’s amazing! Each of these droppers takes 2-3 pumps of the Hand Purifier, so it’s about 4-5 uses, and it’s enough so that people can fall in love with one of my favorite products too.
- Amazon (50 for $7.86 for 5 mL sizes)
Labels, Label Maker, Sticker Paper
So many people ask me where I get my labels. For the most part, I make my own. I love my label maker. I like it because I can connect it to my computer, create the labels with various sizes/fonts (within reason), and print multiples at once. It’s not perfect (there is pixilation when printing), but I can get a nice thick label (1″) and a lot on it… and it’s waterproof! There are also a lot of different colors of labels/ink that you can choose.
- Amazon (Brother P-Touch Label Maker)
When I feel crafty and want to create a colorful label for a more professional look, I have used this paper. While it is far from perfect, the price is amazing, so I feel like I don’t need to worry if one or two pages don’t print perfectly.
- Amazon (Glossy InkJet Photo Sticker Paper)
So what other items are you wondering about? I am happy to share more of my favorites!
I have not received any compensation for the non-Young Living products mentioned in this post. There are no affiliate links, besides the standard Young Living membership links. If you purchase from Amazon, I would highly recommend shopping via smile.amazon.com and select the Young Living Foundation as your charity of choice.
