Did oils do that? Well, yes, and no.
Let me just explain these pictures a little bit...
Those are shorts that I bought last year. I wore them (and others in that size) for much of that summer. Then this year, I upped my supplements and lowered the amount of bread I was eating. That was the biggest change for me. I am now lower than my pre-pregnancy weight.
Tim is wearing shorts that he bought when we graduated. From high school. And they are falling off of him. He weighs less now than when we first started dating 14 years ago.
Did oils do this?
No, but they started us on this mind-shift.
How did we do it?
We started focusing on gut health. We stopped buying bread (though we still eat it, we just don't buy loaves at the store, so we eat a lot less of it). We take supplements that are food-based and all natural, so they work with our bodies instead of against them. We drink antioxidant-rich drinks to support our cells from the times that we aren't perfect. We use only plant-based personal care or cleaning products, so our cells don't have to be in a constant state of toxic overload.
Can oils help you?
Yes. You can add them to your water to make it more flavorful so you drink more and to help you through a very gentle detoxification process. You can pick oils that will help you take away cravings. You can diffuse them or apply them topically to motivate you to get to the gym or keep going on that workout. And they can be used during sessions like with Aroma Freedom Technique so that you stop with the limiting beliefs. I did a session a month ago
Because this is possible. You guys, we are the parents of twins and busier with our work lives than we've ever been. It's not a magic pill or snake oils. It's a lifestyle change.
Now it's time to go shopping.
